So around my blog you have noticed the strange
words Tedger, Germolian, fhqwahgads — actually that’s not on the site until
now and I didn’t even spell it right… Oh well back to the topic. Anyways,
I’m sure you might be wondering what exactly these mean. Well it is simple
Tedger Q. Germolian (Q stands for Que pronounced just like the letter) is my
computer alias. It is the name I primarily go by in any of my electronic
activities.
The name has a long and illustrious history which I will now divulge to you. It started a while back with a simple game of tank artillery. You know the game where you choose an angle and a power and a strange weapon and then you try to take out your enemy’s tank. One day I decided to rip off my friends name just to annoy him a bit. I was then Fudgerman Ray –after his iguana Fudge. Well this didn’t please him much so I was forced to change. Although to remain with the theme of annoying him I only changed one letter F to T. I realized that Tudgerman Ray was kind of dumb and just wouldn’t do. I gave in and changed it to Tedgerman Ray. Eventually the effect wore off and I realized needed my own name to go by. Thus Tedger was born.
For a long time the electronic entity known as Tedger wandered the world without a full name. He was simply Tedger. This was fine and good, but eventually he hit a road block. Someone actually asked for a last name! Not having a need for this before I hadn’t put much thought into it and pursued something that represented me. Well I figured your last name kind of says something about where you are from. I couldn’t use Tank, or Fudge, they just didn’t have the flare I wanted. They just wouldn’t work although they are the root origins of Tedger. I suppose the very root of Tedger is me. I was born in Germany so I decided that I would take the “Germ” in Germany tack on a “olian” for the uniqueness factor and got Tedger Germolian.
Like the simple first name Tedger before it Tedger Germolian was a good online alias. It served it’s uses but all was not good. For Tedger to be a true online alias he needed a middle name. Reaching back to myself I decided that I would have to give Tedger a middle name that sounds just like one letter, much like my middle name. The letters that when spelled out have the same first letter are: Bee, Cee, Dee, Eee, Gee, Jay, Kay, Oh, Pee, Que, Tee, Vee, Zee. I decided that the ones that ended in “ee” were too common, so eliminated them. Leaving me with: Jay, Kay, Oh, Que. Jay was also eliminated for obvious reasons, and I thought Kay sounded to much like it so it was out too. Leaving me with Oh, and Que. So I simply decided to see what they looked like:

Tedger Q. Germolian
Tedger O. Germolian
(By the way if you can’t see this font, then it sucks to be you)
Tedger O. Germolian

The Q looks so much cooler! And “Que” sounds so
much better than “Oh” so really the choice was easy. Thus Tedger Q. Germolian
was born.
