Normaly I reserve the main page for site related and personal news, but this is just too big Woodward and Bernstein (the guys that printed some articles in a little news paper that lead to a certain president’s resignation in the ’70s, what’s his face) revealed the name of their confidential source today. Deap Throat has a name. Such huge news needs to be shouted from the rooftops, it is people like W. Mark Felt who make America great.

I just watched watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind again. I don’t think that I can express how much I love this movie. If you haven’t seen it, rent, buy, steal it, just find a copy and watch it. If you’re going to steal it don’t steal it from me, you can borrow it from me though. :p

Something you may or may not have noticed is Tedger.com now has a footer. At first all there was in the footer was a link to my website e-mail address (faux-encoded against spamming). Now I’ve added web badges.
Web badges if you aren’t familiar to them do two things. 1) Advertise something that the creator of the website endorses or 2) Display something about the nature of the website or website creator. My badges do both. For a Detailed explanation of what my badges click “more…” below. (more…)

I was just sent a link to Save Toby. So…. so very terrible.

I decided to fix up the emoticons or smilies if you prefer. I got some better images and added a few that I didn’t have before. Here’s what I’ve got: ‘(A)’ => (A) => ‘Angel.png’, ‘:-@’ => :-@ => ‘Angry.png’, ‘>:D’ => >:D => ‘BaringTeeth.png’, ‘:S’ => :S => ‘Confused.png’, “;(” => ;( => ‘crying.gif’, ‘(6)’ => (6) => ‘Devil.png’, ‘:|’ => :| => ‘Disappointed.png’, ‘:#’ => :# => ‘DontTellAnyone.png’, ‘:$’ => :$ => ‘embarrassed.png’, ‘8)’ => 8) => ‘Eye-Rolling.gif’, ‘:!’ => :! => ‘FootinMouth.png’, ‘:D’ => :D => ‘Grin.png’, ‘:)’ => :) => ‘Smile.png’, ‘B)’ => B) => ‘Hot.png’, ‘:/’ => :/ => ‘IDontKnow.png’, ‘:p’ => :p => ‘StickingOutTongue.png’, ‘:(’ => :( => ‘Sad.png’, ‘;)’ => ;) => ‘Wink.gif’,

Really this post is for my reference later, but still :D.

Over the course of the last several days Tedger.com has been undergoing major work. The code monkeys were hard at work down in the pits to bring this much easier to use, much easier to read design for tedger.com. I’d just like to give credit to Jorge Caffarena and Adam Iser for code that they allowed me to use for tedger.com. Anyways, enjoy :D.

As noted 2 posts before U2 Rocks. To explain this seemingly random post let me explain.
Back in February tickets for U2’s Virtigo ‘05 tour went on sale. A friend of mine, Catherine, and I got up early on a Saturday to get tickets. We tried the website and they were sold out to web users. We grabbed another friend’s car and drove to HyVee (the nearest Ticketmaster location). We stood in line behind a woman trying to buy 15 tickets. We probably stood there for 20 minuets. We could hear the tickets selling for what we thought were only 2 shows.
When we eventually got our turn we were elated to find out that there was now 4 shows, and that they were all close to being sold out. We asked for the best 3 tickets she could get us and she printed them out, we paid and we were on our way with tickets. 3 months pass, the tour announces another 3 shows in the area; 2 more for a total of 6 in Chicago (all sold out), and one in Omaha (also sold out). More importantly the day of the concert comes up. Cat’s Mom wanted to see a relative and was nice enough to drive us to Chicago.

The show was nothing short of amazing. It's really hard to describe it. It was a little unbelievable being not that far away from a group that has been making amazing music for over 25 years.

In summation, U2 ROCKS!

Tedger.com is going to possibly going down at different times over the next couple days. I’m going to try to make it the last thing that I move. Thing is after I move it I’ll have to route the domain to the new IP and I’m really not to sure how long it will be down for. I’m moving on Sunday so it’s most likely to be down then, but as I’m moving a lot of stuff around I might accidently unplug it and it could go down then too. No worries Aria isn’t dead, she just has a new home :D.
