Well I have to say I haven’t been the most regular poster lately. Last time I posted anything it was on June 9th, almost a month ago. I’ve had plenty to post about but just haven’t. Here’s a quick recap of the last month.

Well first off, I got a car. It’s not flashy or speedy but it gets me around and I’m ecstatic to have it. It’s a 1990 Ford Taurus that my Grandfather and his wife have had for quite a while now and it’s in reasonably good shape, especially for a car it’s age. Since getting the car I’ve managed to drain my battery and lock myself out…. but that’s my fault not the car’s. Pictures of the car attached to the post.
Shortly after I got the car I took a trip up to Dubuque to see my parents come in. They got back from Ethiopia on the 18th and it was great to see them. My brother, Brendan, shot up since the last time I saw him and is almost as tall as I am now. Whether he surpasses me eventually is yet to be seen, but I was his height at his age and haven’t grown much since.
Other than those things the summer has been mostly uneventful. Lots of fun but uneventful. I plan on being a little bit more regular with my postings with what remains of the summer. I’d kind of been held back because I felt like I needed to do an update post like this one before i started posting on anything else and…. well…. I’m a procrastinator at heart what can I say.
