As promised this is the first of five posts this evening. I’ve been really bad about consistently putting things up so I’m catching up for lost time. This one looses some of it’s relevance because it happened a while ago and is pretty brief but what the hell.

Last Tuesday I was riding my bike to work at about 7:50 as I do every morning. I parked my bike outside the back of the Durham building (where I work) and descended into the basement. At 10 I head back up to head to Russian and I find my bike has picked up some visitors, bees. Now for some people a couple bees is no problem just shoo them away, unlock the bike and be on your way. Not so simple for me:
a. I’m allergic b. There was at least 10 of them c. I’m allergic.
I ended up walking to all my classes (Tuesday is the worst day for this to happen because I have more spread out classes than any other day), periodically stopping by my bike when I’m near it to see if my visitors are gone. It wasn’t till 5:30 when I left work for the second time that day that I was able to retrieve my bike safely. The moral being: bees suck.
