This is a warning to all of you readers of tedger.com. Chances are you don’t live in Ames, and chances are I have your phone number. I officially reserve the right to call you anytime from 4PM March 2nd till 6PM March 3rd. That includes ALL hours between.

Why would I do such a thing? Why KQ of course! KQ, (otherwise known as Kaleidoquiz) if you haven’t participated or heard me rant about it before, is a 26 hour trivia game put on by the folks at 88.5 KURE the Iowa State campus radio station. I’ve taken part in KQ for the last 3 years (this being the 4th) and I’ve been Harwood’s team leader (including this time) twice. It’s an absolute blast. “But TJ, why would you call me at 3AM on March 3rd?” Well it just so happens that I have to have someone call down to the station within 6 minutes from your area code. Or I know that you only live 3 hours away and have the rare and elusive Iowa State 2006 Diploma and we’re going to give you millage for your drive time to Ames if you can make it to Ames in under 2 hours. That’s why!

But seriously… I do have some restraint. If I happen to know someone that might be more persasive in getting what Harwood needs for KQ I might have someone else call…..

I’m exited for KQ and everyone else should be! Also, you can probably expect a reappearance of Dan Quale as Uncle Sam.

My break from school and Tedger.com is over and as of this posting I’m up to 3 posts just today! That includes the new potw, go check it out.  I have to apologize for the long break, I (and you no doubt) find it ironic that my last post before the break was talking about how I could have up to 100 viewers, a number that no doubt has shrunk a little in my absence.

My only excuses are that I had a break from school and then school started again and things got crazy etc.  Anway things are back in swing and I’m back at the helm at tedger.com.  Today I cleaned out over 900 spam comments from here in the main blog and the Picture of the Week comments.  I’ve installed a new plugin to hopefully rid myself of spam once and for all.  We shall see.

With all my excuses out of the way I’m back to posting, so all 100 of you have something to read.

No, I didn’t hookup with anyone, and it was more like “running into random hookups” this is just more of an attention grabber. While I was in the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight on to Munich over break I witnessed something a little awkward. On my way to the gate I rode on the concourse tram as is typical in most airports. What wasn’t typical was the couple (about my age) making out almost right next to the door.

Not cute kissing and being close because they wont see each other either. It was gross not for public places making out. Fortunately an older woman (probably 60+) walked in and hit the guy with her purse and told them to knock it off. They looked pretty embarrassed (for good reason!) and got off at the next stop.  That’s what you get for doing that sort of thing in an airport! Let that be a warning to everyone!
