Not quite as soon as my birthday but the POTW is almost a year old! In celebration of this milestone (and to artificially boost my picture/week number) I will be holding a contest! Rules follow:

1. The pictures can be of absolutely anything and should be e-mailed to me either using an address you already know or to the one in the “Contact the Webmaster” link at the bottom of every page.

2. Pictures will be judged by me for only one thing: how much I like them. A pointer on this, I’m probably more likely to like a picture if it has something to do with me but not necessarily. If it’s a particularly beautiful picture that has nothing to do with me you’ll probably do alright and have a fair chance of beating out pictures that involve me. I mean really… I bring down the quality of a picture just by being in it.

3. You must be the artist or photographer of the drawing or picture.

4. Rachel does not automatically win by dating me and no matter how much she pouts it’s not going to do her entry’s any good (see comments on jewish guilt in the Yom Kippur post). Although she may do slightly better then she would have otherwise… but not likely.

5. 7 Pictures will be selected for the week leading up to November 15th.

6. All pictures must be sent to me before 11:59:59 PM CDT on November 10th.

Excited yet? I am. Really when you think about it I have about 6 readers total so even if I post this in my away message for the next month you regulars probably have a good shot. OOh, I know lets add an extra rule.

1. If you’ve commented on tedger.com (either my blog or the potw) before the time of this post you get bonus points in my scoring system which really doesn’t have any solid numbers…. you get the idea.

Update People become exited by trying to be excited but not pressing ‘c’ on their keyboard

Because I was too busy to take a picture of anything I wanted to this week or even draw a stick figure banging it’s head on a desk for finals I’ve stuck up a picture from the previously mentioned sendoff party. Aaron got put in his place Friday night, I don’t know if there was any one other thing that kept people laughing so hard (well besides alcohol).

So this is the PoTW from thanksgiving break. Late partially because well… I was on break, part because I had to get the file from my cousin and part because… well I’m lazy. Better late than never though.

PoTW comes early this week as I’m expecting that I’m not going to have time to even bother with something as trivial as this tomorrow night. This morning when I went to work it was 35°F (about 1°C) and it was raining. It was terrible. As I write this though it’s obvious the temperature has dropped and it’s begun to snow.

This week’s PoTW was drawn on the whiteboard we have in the apartment. No I’m not mad at peter or anything, he just wasn’t home to defend himself when I drew it.
